Androgyny is in the group show "Humanly Possible: The Empathy Exhibit" curated by John Schuerman and co-curator Mark Lawson.

In our current divisive social and political landscape, the newest exhibit at the Milwaukee
Institute of Art & Design (MIAD) asks viewers to do what lately seems rather difficult: feel empathy. “Humanly Possible: The Empathy Exhibition” is on view in MIAD's Frederick Layton Gallery January 12 – March 3. MIAD's galleries are free and open to the public, Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Free gallery tours are available at miad.edu/gallerytours.

Artists exhibiting: Juliane Shibata, Tina Blondell, Inna Valin, Chase Boston, Christopher E.
Harrison, Nooshin Hakim, Peter B. Nelson, Liza Sylvestre, Gudrun Lock, Sue Coe, Lois Bielefeld and Raoul Deal.

Wednesday: Willie Mae. 2013

Weeknight Dinners will be a part of ICP's Projected series from October 9- October 15, 2017. During the day, the work is presented on monitors and during evening hours, images are literally “projected” onto the windows of the ICP Museum; they can be viewed from the sidewalk outside the museum and are most visible after sunset.

Covered Ground, (Two Hundred and Fourteen Running Shoes). 2017
All In: Shorewood Girls Cross Country at Charles Allis Art Museum.

In 2015, I documented my daughter's high school cross country team for the entire season. I tagged along to a midnight run, a camping trip (with 61 girls!), races, team-building activities, workouts, and loads of zany to sweet traditions such as leg striping. The series reveals a roller coaster of emotions and physical ordeals that tell a captivating story of growth and accomplishment, while also encouraging us to revisit our past lives as teenagers navigating the landscape of friendship, group dynamics, and team sports. The show will run from July 20th to October 22nd and it includes photographs, installations, and audio installations.
